Some photos from Kliptown Creche
Here are some photos from our visit to the preschool in Soweto.
Heading back from shopping for food. Watching the preschool students perform for the visiting group. Playing the drums for the performers as the one and two year olds look on. The best use of a stroller I've seen so far!
I'm one of a few students from the Unversity of Washington to have received the prestigious Bonderman Fellowship--basically a fat chunk of change to be used to wander around the world. While I haven't sorted out all my feelings about receiving so much money JUST to travel and from a rather well-off high risk investor (yes, I google searched Mr. Bonderman!), I am very grateful for the opportunity to just travel.
As my British dive master said before a course in Utila, Honduras: "The secret to life is living it." Or maybe he said "Live life, don't let it live you." Either way it's still provided me a mantra to guide my travels.
